HISTORY BOOKS: MILITARY, CIVILIZATIONS, RELIGION, POLITICS, ARCHAEOLOGY, ETC.

The Old World Trader offers the largest selection of history books in the Rolla area. We try to cover as broad a selection of topics as possible. Special attention has been placed on American colonial and military history, The Ages of Discovery and Exploration, Europe, ancient civilizations, archaeology, early languages, and reference. The inventory is constantly evolving, and new topics appear routinely.

Virtually all of our books are sold for below the suggested or cover prices.

Some great examples of what we offer include a facsime reprint of Diderot's "Encyclopedie" from the late 1700s, a bound photocopy of The Voynich Manuscript (a never-decyphered script from the 16th century), and the complete musical works of Claude Goudimel (2200 pages of medieval music). If you enjoy reading history in the same way that others enjoy novels, we are certain to have at least several books you would love to read on any given day.

Located across from Applebee's at 410 South Bishop Ave (inside The Frame Shop Gallery), in Rolla, Missouri.
